Gold Circle Recognition Awarded to FJAC
The National Roofing Contractors Association 2004 Convention in San Diego awarded F.J.A. Christiansen the winning Gold Circle recognition for their work at Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary. These awards are given to unique projects “for excellence in the roofing industry.” NRCA bestowed this national recognition upon FJAC and Holy Hill in its Workmanship: Steep-slope category. F.J.A. Christiansen was one of eight finalists altogether, which included many remarkable projects throughout the U.S.
Two other Tecta America firms received similar Gold Circle recognition: Western Roofing Services (San Francisco) in the Workmanship: Low-slope category for its work at Wells Fargo Bank headquarters; and, Magco (Baltimore) received the Excellence in Design Award for its workmanship and design of a Green Roof with putting green on an office building in Maryland.
This project also received state recognition when the Associated Builders & Contractors of Wisconsin, Inc. honored FJAC's work with its Projects of Distinction Award in the Thermal/Moisture Protection category.
