The F.J.A. Christiansen Companies meet the everyday
challenges of job site safety and complex insurance
matters under the direction of a full-time professional.
In 1987, the position of Safety and Insurance Director
was created reaffirming our commitment to maintaining
a safe work place for the benefit of our customers and
employees. The responsibilities
of our Safety Director take him to our job sites before
the project starts to review the specifics of job
site safety with the customer and our project management
team. During the execution phase, he visits the crews
to be sure we are in compliance with the appropriate
OSHA, DNR, and EPA regulations which may impact a
particular project. He is also responsible for administering
our MSDS compliance program. We operate in full compliance
with all government regulations that may impact operations,
and we are constantly using our best efforts to keep
up to date in this area.
F.J.A. Christiansen maintains adequate liability insurance
to protect business owners and minimize the risk inherent
in construction projects. Coverage includes:
- $1,000,000 underlying general
liability policy provided by Liberty Mutual Insurance
- $25,000,000 umbrella policy underwritten
by a single carrier
- "Unlimited" aggregate
bonding capacity. Our bonding company is Safeco Insurance
The F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing
Companies have earned the reputation as one of the
safest roofing and sheet metal contractors in the
country. Safe performance does not happen by chance.
Like anything else, it takes advance planning and
focus from all of our staff -- starting at the top.
Just like quality, our employees maintain an attitude
that safety is a high priority. In addition to the
protection of our own employees, we do our utmost
to protect the safety and health of others.
Our effort in this area is another
reason our customers can select F.J.A. Christiansen
Roofing with confidence -- to provide solutions to
their problems.
